Herman J. Zindler, Jr

Served in the 46th Troop Carrier Squadron during WWII
He started as an enlisted pilot with the rank of Staff Sergeant, then flight officer, then 2nd Lieutenant finishing WWII as a Captain.

He remained in the service transitioning from transport aircraft to Jet fighters during the Korean war. He died on Nov.17th 2008.

His Photos were submitted by his daughter, Patty Zindler Wernet, who is also a military veteran.
