This  317^th Veterans Group reunion was a joint reunion with the Berlin Airlift Veterans Association. Also taking part in this reunion was members of the Burtonwood Association and the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation. Burtonwood Airbase in England and the 317^th Troop Carrier Wing both took part in the Berlin Airlift. The Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation flew their C-54 “Spirit of Freedom” to the reunion, and it was open for visits at the nearby Green County Airport. The 317^th Airlift Wing based at Dyess AFB sent C-130J crew to this reunion. All four of these organizations have a common link in with the Berlin Airlift which will make for a historic and memorable gathering.
